2011-2012!

Last year was definitely a year full of unwanted emotions but one thing is for sure, I ended 2011 and started 2012 just right by traveling.

Once again, I find myself being enticed by the systematic and technologically advanced country of Singapore. I have to admit, you can’t help but make comparisons when you are in a different country, but still I’m proud to say that it’s more fun here in the Philippines. (That’s just me supporting the new tourism campaign of the Department of Tourism!)

Anyway, I’m glad to have spent the new year with my family. Its not everyday where I get to spend an entire day with them which is why I’m thankful for these moments. It’s nice to be complete every once in a while, and what great way to make it more memorable than by traveling together in foreign land. 

We rode the new Transformers ride in Universal Studios, ate numerous, sumptuous, and delectable eastern and western cuisine, watched one of the greatest broadway show of all times - Wicked, went to the infamous Marina Bay Sands, and ended it by celebrating the new year with foams being sprayed all over us by the people along Orchard road (since fireworks is only allowed in Marina Bay, foam cans were used as an alternative tool for celebration). 

Nothing beats traveling, really.
